Power surge hurts Weber, Morgan 911 service
The Weber 911 District said Thursday a power surge has impacted some of their systems, causing intermittent problems.
"At this time we believe the only calls impacted are on non-emergency lines," 911 District director Deborah Mecham said Thursday. "Some calls are receiving a message that all operators are busy. If you call and receive this message, and you are on hold for an unusually long time, feel free to hang up and call again."
Mecham said in a faxed statement to the Deseret News that technicians hope to have the problem fixed by Thursday afternoon.
