Class series to help with FamilySearch, handwriting

Getting started with family history, FamilySearch and handwriting classes will be offered at the Family History Library in downtown Salt Lake City.

The getting started series, including "Starting Your Family History," "How to Guess Where to Start," "Research Logs -- A Tool for Organizing Your Research" and "Family History on the Internet" is Jan. 10, 9 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.

On Jan. 17, the Family History Library is offering an all-day series of classes on FamilySearch indexing series, including classes on "How To Do Indexing," and "Q and A for Arbitrators and Administrators." Classes will run from noon to 4 p.m.
