Top 10 plays during the BYU football season

TELLING STAT II: Collie finished the season leading the NCAA in receiving yards per game (118.31), tying an NCAA record for consecutive games with more than 100 yards receiving (11). That record smashed a six-year old MWC mark of five set by SDSU's J.R. Tolver.

BIGGEST WIN: Easy, the Cougars got more mileage out of whipping UCLA 59-0 than any game played after the controversy at Washington.

WORST LOSS: The whipping at TCU sent the Cougars reeling, but the Cougars could have got a piece of the championship with a win over Utah in the finale. That looms as the biggest loss because of the ways and means, a third-quarter meltdown in a close game. BYU was never in it at Fort Worth.

MOST PROMISE: Has to be left tackle Matt Reynolds, who posted an outstanding freshman season with the heavy chore of protecting the back of Hall.
