PROVO — Raser Technologies Inc. said Monday it will file an application to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

The company, involved in developing geothermal power, has been cleared by NYSE Regulation to file an "original listing" application that would move it from the NYSE Arca. The company said it expects to begin trading on the "Big Board" in the first quarter of 2009. It will continue to trade on the NYSE Arca until then.
