"When adversity comes, we're ready to step up and take it," Webster said. "Never count us out."
Davis at least had Alta down for the count with a solid effort in the first half. Sophomore quarterback Gavin Fowler threw two touchdown passes, and the Darts were able to stop the Hawks' running game with their front four and linebacker Marshall Burton. An upset seemed to be brewing, but Alta's defense was phenomenal in the second half, as was Olsen.
"They made some good adjustments with how they were aligning some DBs and linebackers and stuff, and they just played all-out in the second half," Fowler said. "They brought it to us. We tried to battle back, but we came up a little bit short."
