Frances Beverly Johnson Monson, wife of LDS Church President Thomas S. Monson, was hospitalized for four or five days this week after a fall but returned home Thursday night.

President Monson discussed his wife's health briefly Friday at the dedication of a $43 million addition to the Tanner Building at Brigham Young University.

He shared Sister Monson's greetings with those at the dedication and spoke about the important role the wives of J.W. Marriott Jr. and Richard Marriott played in their husbands' success.

"Such is the case in my life," said President Monson, considered a prophet by more than 13 million members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

"They don't expect you to be there, dear," President Monson reported saying to Sister Monson about the dedication ceremony in Provo. "She said, 'Don't stay home with me. Go on down there and do what you need to do.'

"Now," President Monson concluded, "that's the kind of wife to have, isn't it? Right behind you all the way."
