Danny White, who was the coach and general manager of the Utah Blaze during their first three seasons before resigning following the 2008 campaign, has accepted a job with the rival Arizona Rattlers as the team's offensive coordinator.

There White is expected to coach three former Blaze stars — quarterback Joe Germaine and receivers J.J. McKelvey and Siaha Burley. Burley is under contract with the Rattlers while both Germaine and McKelvey are expected to sign free agency deals with Arizona.

White was the head coach of the Rattlers prior to coaching the Blaze. The former Arizona State and Dallas Cowboys star quarterback was the head coach for Arizona for 15 years. He led the Rattlers to the ArenaBowl five times, winning the title in 1994 and 1997.

White's Blaze teams went 21-30 (.412) in three years and were 0-3 in the playoffs. He was replaced in Utah by Ron James.
