"He's definitely a big positive for this team."

BOBBLE-BALLER: BYU faithful remember him for being an NCAA-tournament-time Cougar-killer. Many hoops fans recall him being Carmelo Anthony's point guard on Syracuse's 2003 NCAA championship team.

TV viewers, however, might recognize Gerry McNamara as being that guy who resembles the doll on Dwight Schrute's desk on the hit show, "The Office."

And indeed he does.

McNamara's hometown is Scranton, Pa., which happens to be where the popular comedy is based. After graduating from Syracuse in 2006, the minor-league Scranton Red Barons gave out 6,000 bobblehead dolls in McNamara's likeness. The hometown hero's shaky toy head eventually ended up as a TV prop through his brother's friend who does promotions for the show, the NBA hopeful told the Jazz PR crew.

McNamara says it is "pretty cool to have a bobblehead of yourself," and he has a bunch stored at his Scranton home. But he also admitted that he's never actually seen "The Office."

"I don't even watch it, but I'm waiting to get all the DVDs," he said in a blog on the Jazz Web site. "My brother loves it. Most of my family loves it. It is pretty funny to see that my bobblehead is on such a big name show."

INJURY REPORT: Forward Andrei Kirilenko has a sprained index finger on his right hand and will be a game-time decision tonight.

Kirilenko only did cardio work Tuesday and did not practice. X-rays performed on the finger were negative.

Other game-time decisions for tonight are backup center Jarron Collins, who didn't play in Sunday's exhibition win at Portland due to inflammation in his right elbow; reserve guard Ronnie Price, who didn't play in Portland because of a bruise in his lower right leg; and McNamara, a free-agent guard who missed Tuesday's practice because of a stomach virus.

Collins didn't practice Tuesday, and Price didn't take part in any contact work.

Reserve guard Brevin Knight also practiced sparingly because of a sprained left thumb, but he's listed as "probable" for tonight.

Also probable for is rookie big man Kosta Koufos, who practiced Tuesday but still is bothered by a strained left hamstring.

Also a gametime decision is veteran power forward Paul Millsap suffered scratched cornea during practice on Tuesday. Millsap was struck under the eye during a play underneath the basket.

None of the injuries are considered major.

Tonight's preseason game is the second of four in a row on the road, and the first of three in four nights.
