Vandals wreck hundreds of pumpkins at West Jordan farm
WEST JORDAN Vandals ruined hundreds of ripe pumpkins at Schmidt's Pumpkin Patch, a West Jordan farm that traditionally has offered a popular pick-your-own fall activity.
Sections of the patch at 2200 West and 9000 South were covered with destroyed pumpkins. West Jordan police were called Friday and were told that 300 pumpkins had been damaged, worth about $500, according to West Jordan Sgt. Clint Hodgkinson.
Currently, there are no suspects in the case.
