Father pleads not guilty to murder charge in Ogden
OGDEN — A man charged with killing his infant son earlier this year pleaded not guilty Tuesday.
David Grant Swapp, 27, suffocated his 3-month-old child, according to charges filed in 2nd District Court. The boy, David Grant Swapp Jr., was not breathing May 30 when he was taken to McKay-Dee Hospital, where he died.
The father has been charged with first-degree felony murder.
A disposition hearing has been set for Nov. 13.
