PROVO — Utah Valley Regional Medical Center will host its annual family health and safety fair Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Northwest Plaza on the hospital campus in Provo from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The fair is free and open to the public.

This year's event will feature booths and activities to educate children and families about diabetes, healthy eating, bullying, Internet safety, drug abuse and dental hygiene. Free bike helmets will also be given out while supplies last. In addition, a car seat check will be held from 10 a.m. to noon.

"We are pleased to partner with a number of community agencies to make this educational opportunity available to the residents of Utah County. As a health-care organization, we clearly understand that part of our mission is promoting wellness and prevention," said community relations coordinator Lisa Bullock in a statement.

For more information about the fair, contact Bullock at 357-7612 or lisa.bullock@imail.org
