Key Call: After Husky quarterback Jake Locker ran for a touchdown with two seconds remaining to pull Washington to within one point, 28-27, he heaved the ball in the air in celebration, drawing an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty from the crew of Pac-10 officials. That forced Washington to attempt 35-yard long extra point, which was blocked.
