"What I Thought I Saw?" — a free, public exhibit about the lives behind the pictures — will be on display Sept. 8-26 at the Jewish Community Center, 2 North Medical Drive.

This exhibit focuses on perceptions and mistakes made seeing the world through an imperfect and highly personal visual lens. It was created by artists Peta Owens-Liston, Sasha Pollack, Kim Wilcox and Amy Abo.

A special reception and panel discussion on the exhibit will be Sept. 11. The reception is 6:30-7:30 p.m., followed by a 7:30-8:30 p.m. panel discussion hosted by NPR radio personality Jenny Brundin.

Panelists include Dr. Paul White, Steve Mikita and Rabbi Benny Zippel.

For more information, call 581-0098, ext. 118.
