Family History Library is offering classes

In the upcoming weeks, the Family History Library of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is offering classes in capturing and publishing family history.

A series of classes on "Capturing Your Family History" will be held today and will cover the topics "Capturing Oral Histories," "Writing Your Personal History," "Creating a Family Web Site" and "Organizing a Family Reunion." The classes run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Then, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 20, there will be classes on "Publishing Your Family History." These will include "Preparing Your Family History," "Printing a Book Using the Personal Ancestral File Genealogy Software" and "Getting Your History Ready for Publication."
