Once again the Republican Party platform leaves no exceptions when calling for a total ban on abortion. It opposes the teachings of the LDS Church. On the other hand, the new Democratic platform says, "Abortion should be safe, legal and rare." In this year's version it even heralds adoption incentives.

It feels good to belong to a political party that supports my beliefs on such a critical issue.
