LONE PEAK 28, VIEWMONT 13: The Knights jumped out to a 21-point lead and then regained control of the game with a fourth-quarter drive in which Kade Andrus gained 80 yards on three receptions and two runs. Andrus finished the game with 105 yards rushing, 54 yards receiving and one TD. Lone Peak quarterback Tannon Pedersen threw for 188 yards and three TDs. Knights receiver Chandler Allphin had six catches for 107 yards and two TDs.
DESERT HILLS 33, SALEM HILLS 26: Desert Hills was able to catch fire at the perfect time as it rallied off 21 points in the fourth quarter to sneak past Salem Hills in an exciting game between the new schools.
