MormonTimes.com: Holmoe touts Y. football team, says switch to DirecTV

PROVO — Athletic director Tom Holmoe called the 16th-ranked BYU football team "loaded" and advised fans to switch to DirecTV if they can't get Cougar football and basketball games.

Holmoe made those statements to more than 100 fans from around the country during a wide-ranging presentation on the state of Cougar sports during BYU's annual Campus Education Week.

"I'm confident that we have a very good football team," Holmoe said. "That's what we planned for, and now we've got it, so now that it's here I'm not going to be squeamish about (saying) it."
