Signaling can be life-saver

Drivers, I'm begging you — please signal. This simple maneuver can mean the difference between life or death. Just simply flipping the wand on the left side of your steering wheel up or down shows your intentions. Most of us just cannot read minds yet.

And cyclists: A simple smile and nod to a driver who yields to you, waves you forward or otherwise does not cut you off can go a long way. Let's all be courteous and share the roads.
