Wilco concert cacophonous
Reading Josh Loftin's review of Wilco (Aug. 20) made me wonder if we attended the same concert. Then I looked at Loftin's mug shot and realized his music and art knowledge and appreciation are seriously limited by his tender age. I doubt whether Dali, Gaudi or Picasso would welcome the comparison with the mercilessly amplified noise that the reviewer calls "genius," "masterpiece," "akin to a deity."
What Wilco created on the Red Butte stage was neither modern art nor music. It was cacophony.
