Nuclear energy safe, beneficial

Why all the fuss about wind and solar energy? The power company knows these won't be viable for decades, and current farms are just so-called "greenwashing." How about a crusade to drill for more oil? No, just politicians pandering.

Why not nuclear energy? If only it weren't a victim of its past.

Here's an update: Safety is paramount in modern designs, which makes disasters physically impossible. The benefits are clear. Nuclear now supplies 90 percent of France's energy. It is clean, safe, cheap and mature. It is time to trust nuclear energy.
