From Deseret News archives:
Huntsman speaking to national GOP Tuesday; Romney speaking Wednesday
The tentative schedule was announced Wednesday morning by the convention organizers.
Also on the schedule is Mitt Romney, who is speaking Wednesday night. That is the same night as the unnamed vice presidential nominee. That could be interpreted to mean that Romney, who is one of the rumored front-runners for the vice presidential slot, will be speaking as the vice presidential candidate. But it could also mean that he is not the vice presidential choice, since he is on the schedule.
Also scheduled Wednesday are Carly Fiorina and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, who have also been rumored to be on the vice presidential list. Other contenders scheduled to speak are Minn. Gov. Tim Pawlenty and Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, both speaking Thursday, and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who is speaking Tuesday.
Of those who have been suggested as potential vice presidential selections, the only one not on the schedule is former Ohio Congressman Rob Portman.
The schedule released Wednesday is tentative, and it does not include times for the individual speakers. It can be found at the related content link above.
