The Cougars' 2008-09 men's basketball schedule includes teams from 10 different conferences, including the ACC and Pac-10, and features a three-day, six-game tournament in the Marriott Center.

The Cougars will play 12 games against teams that qualified for postseason play last year and be featured 19 times on the MWC television schedule with broadcast partners CBS College Sports Network (CBS C), VERSUS and the MountainWest Sports Network (The mtn.). All of BYU's MWC games will be televised this season as well as nonconference outings with Boise State, Portland and Wake Forest. Additional television games will be announced once finalized.

Among the highlights on the schedule is the first-ever visit by Wake Forest to the Marriott Center and only the second such trip by an ACC team (NC State in 2004). The Cougars will look to avenge their defeat in Winston-Salem last season when the two schools meet on Jan. 3.
