FIRST DOWN: The Cougars worked on blue zone situations during their 11-on-11 team drills in the morning session. BYU followed up with an afternoon practice.

HEAD-TURNER: Harvey Unga ran for a five-yard touchdown and receiver Luke Ashworth caught a 20-yard pass from Max Hall. With Jordan Pendleton out with an illness, safety Andrew Rich played with the first-team defense.

INJURY REPORT: Matt Ah You (bruised sternum), David Tafuna (concussion), Bryce Mahuika (quads), Austin Collie (stress fracture) are all still being held out of practices.
