MONTICELLO — More than 200 pounds of marijuana was seized in a drug bust in the Four Corners area of Utah.

The Utah Highway Patrol said Monday that an SUV was stopped on U.S. 191 on July 13 for failure to signal a lane change. The 22-year-old driver was given a warning but also consented to having the vehicle searched.

Troopers said that inside the car they found 33 packages of marijuana, which they believe came from Mexico. The driver was arrested and booked into the San Juan County Jail. A 16-year-old passenger also was arrested.
