The clock is now ticking for the Jazz if they hope to keep swingman C.J. Miles in the family.

Miles, who has played three years in Utah, signed an offer sheet Friday with the newly relocated franchise from Seattle.

Terms of the contract offer were not released, but a source close to the situation says the contract is $15 million guaranteed over four years. The Jazz will have seven days to match it.

Moments before Utah's first Rocky Mountain Revue game began tonight, Jazz general manager Kevin O'Connor said he had "no comment" on whether his club would try to retain the restricted free agent.

Last month, Utah tendered a qualifying offer to the 21-year-old, reported to be worth $1.2 million for one year. That gave the Jazz first rights of refusal on the young player who has struggled to find consistent playing time so far in Utah. He also reportedly received interest from Detroit.

O'Connor said he would review Miles' contract offer after the Jazz's Revue game Friday.

"We really haven't had time to digest it," O'Connor said shortly before the 7 o'clock tipoff. "I got it delivered it about an hour ago."

The 6-foot-6 Miles would be teammates with young talents such as Kevin Durant, Jeff Green and Russell Westbrook in Oklahoma City.

Miles, selected with the No. 34 pick in the 2005 NBA Draft out of Dallas' Skyline High, averaged 4.0 points and 1.3 rebounds in his three season with the Jazz.
