MAGNA — A 16-year-old girl is in critical condition after police say she made a left turn in front of a truck and was broadsided Wednesday evening.

Just before 5 p.m., the girl was driving on state Route 201 when she attempted to make a left turn at 8000 West and was T-boned by a Dodge pickup truck, said Utah Highway Patrol trooper Cameron Roden.

The girl was flown to Intermountain Medical Center in critical condition. The driver of the truck was not seriously injured, police said.
