Those who would like to share their thoughts and concerns on proposed transportation projects have until July 31 to speak their minds to the Wasatch Front Regional Council.

The Council is seeking public comment on projects such as the widening of I-15 from 500 North in Salt Lake County to I-215 in Davis, a pedestrian/bicycle trail in West Valley City and bridge replacement projects on I-215 East. Also, the council will be accepting public input on the draft 2009-2014 Transportation Improvement Program and the Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan.

Thursday, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m, WFRC is hosting an open house at the Salt Lake City Main Library. Officials will be available to the public to answer questions and flag concerns, and information will be available, in Conference Room B of the library.

The proposed amendments to the Regional Transportation Plan, the draft TIP and the draft HSP are available online at www.wfrc.org or may be requested by contacting WRFC at (801) 363-4250. Public feedback can also be submitted on the WFRC Web site.
