The Jazz want Miles in camp, but Miles — who also missed the summer league for business-related reasons last year — doesn't want to risk long-term injury while only a one-year, $1.2 million qualifying offer is on the table.

Play in the eight-team, six-day Revue begins Friday at Salt Community College.

IRAN, IRAN: The Iranian National Team — already scheduled for two Revue games, including one against the Jazz on Monday night — also will scrimmage against the NBA Development League's D-League Ambassadors team on Thursday and Sunday at the Jazz-affiliated Utah Flash's newly purchased Utah County practice facility, the NBA announced Tuesday.

FIBA's Asia-champion team from Iran is preparing to play in next month's Summer Olympics in China and will observe NBA summer-league workouts during its stay in Utah.

HE SAID IT: O'Connor, on the Jazz's activity in the NBA's summer free-agency shopping market: "Just because you don't hear us out there, it doesn't mean we're not talking to people or visiting with people about things."

MISC.: The Orlando Magic on Tuesday signed Sacramento guard Anthony Johnson to what the Orlando Sentinel reported was a two-year, $3.8 million deal to back up starting point Jameer Nelson. Earlier this month, the Rocky Mountain News listed the Jazz as being among multiple teams with supposed interest in Johnson. ... Along with Williams, Jazz backup point guard Ronnie Price — who is getting married this off-season — has worked out in the Jazz's Revue camp. Neither will play Revue games, though. ... Point guard Brian Chase, who spent part of one season in Utah, but never did appear in a regular-season game for the Jazz, is on the roster of Atlanta's Revue entry.
