Search efforts continue today for a man reported missing Saturday evening in Utah Lake.

The Utah County Sheriff's department said a call came in just before 7 p.m. Saturday from the family of a 24-year-old man who was last seen jumping into the water about a mile west of the Utah State Park Marina. Family members told deputies he was recovering some equipment from the water but did not resurface.

Searchers from the Utah County Sheriff's Search and Rescue, Utah State Parks and others looked for the man until dark Saturday night and resumed the search this morning. Sheriff's officials said the search will continue throughout the day or until the man is found.
