GOLF: Six Thunderbird players have qualified for the 2008 Utah State Amateur Tournament. Returning players Jared Brader, Matt McArthur, Nate Page and Chas Boorman, along with 2008 signees Jeff Evans and Denny Job, will be teeing it up Wednesday when the tournament begins at Soldier Hollow Golf Course.

"We're very proud to have all of our scholarship players who are from Utah in the tournament," SUU golf coach Richard Church said. "We're looking forward to watching our guys and hoping one can have the kind of success Mandi (Incorvaia) had at the women's match play tournament."

Church was referring to Incorvaia's UGA Match Play championship which she claimed last month at River Oaks Golf Course.
