Host of festivities planned for Fourth of July

Following is a list of Fourth of July activities planned around the state:

Beaver County

Beaver: July 4: 9 a.m., Children's parade; July 4 and 5: Annual Butch Cassidy Festival, Beaver City Park. 888-848-5081.

Milford: July 4: 10 a.m., parade, games and concessions at Pavilion Park; 10 p.m., fireworks. 435-387-2711.

Minersville: 10 a.m., parade on Main Street; 11 a.m.-1 p.m. program, food, games, Pioneer Park. 435-438-2451.

Box Elder County

Brigham City: July 4: 7 a.m. 5K, meet at Watkins lot; 8-11 a.m.,

breakfast; 9-10 a.m., patriotic program; 9-11 a.m., Wal-Mart fishing at Pioneer Pond; 10 a.m. teens T-ball tournament; noon-4 p.m., food, games in the park; 1 p.m., horseshoe contest; 2 p.m., cow chip toss; 4 p.m., 3-on-3 basketball at Wadman Court; 7:30 p.m., Air National Guard Band of the West Coast, concert in the park; dusk, fireworks, Pioneer Park, 800 W. Hyrum: July 2: 10 p.m., fireworks at the soccer field; July 4: 6:15 a.m., freedom run; 7-10 a.m., chuck wagon breakfast, $6 adults, $4 children; 8 a.m., flag ceremony; 11:55 a.m., Main Street Mile Run at the Rodeo grounds; noon, parade on Main Street; 11 a.m.-5 p.m., booths; 2-4 p.m., entertainment at City Square; 5 p.m., flag retreat; 7:30 p.m., Hyrum Hornets Baseball game. 435-245-6033.

Centerville: July 3: 6:30 p.m., Children's Parade, beginning at160 South 200 East and ending at Founder's Park; 8-10 p.m., free concert at Founder's Park, Prospect Mali and the Joe Muscolino Band; 9:45 p.m., fireworks at park. July 4: 7-9 a.m., breakfast, Founder's Park; 7 a.m., 28th Annual Freedom 5K run, children's races; 9 a.m., parade on Main Street, starts on Chase Lane; 10 a.m.-3 p.m., heritage quilt display, Centerville Elementary; 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m., outdoor festival and entertainment at Founder's Park; 1 p.m., police auction, Founder's Park. 550-5859.
