This weekend Salt Lake City will showcase Note By Note, as well as Steinway #L1307, the concert grand piano that is shown in the documentary.

The Salt Lake Film Society, in association with Daynes Music, has arranged for Broadway Centre Cinemas, 111 E. 300 South, to host the piano for a week.

The Broadway will also host opening-weekend parties tonight and Saturday, featuring a performance by the Five Browns, and a post-screening, question- and-answer session.

Tickets for the performance and screening, at 7 p.m. both nights, are $10.

Regular showings of Note By Note will continue throughout the week, while the piano remains on display at the theater.

For information on the film, the opening weekend parties or other Salt Lake Film Society programs, call 321-0310, or browse www.saltlakefilmsociety.org.
