The Sunnyside herd consists almost entirely of rams, which number from 25 to 40 depending on the day and the year.

Spotting scopes and binoculars will be available for people to use, but those who have their own optics are encouraged to bring them.

Sunnyside is less than 20 miles east of Price. To reach the town from Price, travel southeast on U.S. 6 to its junction with state Route 123, then follow 123 to Sunnyside.

SEE CUTTHROAT TROUT

Cutthroat trout are spawning and swimming up the Strawberry River.

A free viewing event will be held Saturday at the Strawberry Reservoir Visitors Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

DWR biologists will be available to answer questions and show some of the cutthroat.

Strawberry Reservoir is about 25 miles southeast of Heber City, off U.S. 40.
