A magnitude 3.6 earthquake shook southeastern Utah on Friday.

The University of Utah Seismograph Stations say the quake hit at 2:09 p.m. with an epicenter about 18 miles south of Blanding.

The San Juan County Sheriff's Office said it had no reports of damage.

David Carpenter, owner of Comb Ridge Coffee in Bluff, said the quake lasted a few seconds.

"The windows shook and the building kind of vibrated," he said. "I thought a truck hit something."
