Utah Jazz guard/forward Kyle Korver underwent what was termed successful surgery Wednesday to remove a bone spur from the top of his left foot, according to Jazz general manager Kevin O'Connor.

The procedure was performed by Dr. Jonathan Deland in New York City.

Korver's foot will be re-examined in two weeks, and he is expected to be able to start working out in a pool in about three weeks.

Acquired by the Jazz from Philadelphia on Dec. 29, 2007, Korver appeared in 50 regular-season games with the Jazz (all as a reserve) in 2007-08, averaging 9.8 points and 2.0 rebounds in 21.5 minutes per game. He also saw action in all 12 playoff games for the Jazz, averaging 7.8 points and 2.2 rebounds in 21.6 minutes per game.
