Art at the Main, a cooperative artist gallery in the atrium ground floor of Salt Lake City's Main Library (210 E. 400 South), celebrates two years in business today.

"We're dedicated to educating the public about fine art," said Joy Nunn, co-founder and co-director of the gallery, "and the value of a thriving arts community in Utah."

As part of its commitment to education, AATM offers the public the opportunity to watch artists work in their studios, adjacent to the gallery. Also, through June, the gallery will be holding demonstrations on various art techniques. For time and date, call 363-4088 or visit www.artatthemain.com

The gallery is open Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Sunday, 1-5 p.m.

Artist members are Terrece Beesely, Janet Bondi, Caryn Feeney, Cary Griffiths, Jerry Hardesty, Bill James, Debra Marin, Sue Martin, Julie Morriss, Joy Nunn, Richelle Rule, Diana Stover, John Stout, Nancy Swanson and Joan Zone.
