The list is in the April 2008 edition of National Geographic Traveler Magazine. The Stay List includes the top 150 properties in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean that exemplify authenticity and a sense of place.

The award takes note of hotels with "location-inspired architecture, ambience and amenities, eco-stewardship, and an ethic of giving back to community." More than 600 properties were nominated by travel experts.

CLUBS RECOGNIZED

Park City Nordic Ski Club was named the USSA jumping/nordic combined Club of the Year.

The club is consistently home to athletes, which is illustrated by the fact that all six women on the U.S. Women's Ski Jumping Team and one U.S. Cross Country Ski Team athlete hailed from the program.

The USSA's Snowboard Club of the Year went to Park City Snowboard Team, which hosted two major events — the Revolution Tour and Race to the Cup. The Team, under the leadership of Mike Bell got two invites to the Lake Placid World Cup, two Junior World Championships invites, a number of Revolution Tour podiums, and in alpine, multiple podiums at NorAm events.
