Stop 'preventive wars'
If I were a betting man, I'd be putting a lot of money on the likelihood that the United States will attack Iran this year. I don't expect an invasion, but indications point to a missile strike on Iranian nuclear facilities before President Bush leaves office. I wouldn't even rule out the use of nuclear missiles designed to strike deep underground.
Americans who are tired of so-called "preventive wars" should make it clear to their elected representatives that things have gone too far. It's time to elect only those who refuse to give war-making power to the president of the United States.
