Layton to promote crosswalk safety
LAYTON — Police will conduct an operation to promote crosswalk safety Friday.
Operation Crosswalk Enforcement will take place from 2-6 p.m. at 591 W. Antelope Drive, near Lincoln Elementary School.
"Education is the main goal of the effort, however citations will be issued when warranted," according to a statement from the Layton Police Department.
The department has similar operations planned in the coming months.
