NATIONAL TRAILS DAY
National Trails Day is June 7. The event encourages people to get outside, get active and experience the wonders of trails in their communities.
Trails can become pathways to better health. Regular physical activity, including using trails and pathways, is very beneficial for preventing or controlling many diseases.
The Lakeview Trail will open at Rockport. Call 435-336-2241.

FISHING REGULATIONS
Anglers who would like to see changes in Utah's fishing regulations have until June 4 to voice their opinions.
"2009 is still a long way ways off, but our biologists need time to determine how practical and biologically sound each idea is," said Drew Cushing, warm water sport fisheries coordinator for the DWR.
"They would like to receive your ideas before June 4. Then they'll do the work needed to decide which ideas will work."
The DWR will present its final recommendations to the public in September.
There are three ways to submit ideas:
• E-mail to DWRComment@utah.gov.
• Mail ideas to Sport Fisheries Coordinator, Division of Wildlife Resources, Box 146301, Salt Lake City, UT 84114-6301.
• Attend an upcoming Regional Advisory Council meeting.
