Weigh in on guns in national parks, wildlife refuges

The Interior Department's 60-day public comment period began April 30 for people to weigh in on updates to regulations regarding the carrying of firearms in national parks and wildlife refuges. The proposed updates would allow a person to carry a concealed weapon into national parks and refuges only if that person is permitted to carry a concealed weapon and authorized to do so "on similar state lands in the state in which the national park or refuge is located."
