Say goodbye to the view
Last week, I received notice that a microwave cellular transmission tower is proposed at my children's elementary school. I only received the notice because I live within 300 feet of the school property. This makes me wonder how my neighbors, who live outside of this range, feel about having a view of this or having their kids play by it.
These companies are racing for tower placement in order to eliminate dead spots throughout urban areas. Public schools are their preferred target because of their need for monies and dispersed holdings of property.
Imagine the last time you admired a rainbow or a sunset from your home. Now, imagine a 200-foot-tall cell tower in the middle of that view.
Now, can you hear me? Can you see me now?
