• Utah County Republican Women, will hear from Utah County State Senators during a noon meeting at the Provo Library at Academy Square, 550 N. University Ave. Speakers include: John Valentine, District 14 and president of the Senate; Curt Branble, District 16, Majority Leader; Howard Stephenson, District 11; Margaret Dyaton, District 15; Mark Madsen, District 13. They will report on Bills passed and how they will benefit the State. Bring your questions. A light lunch will be served. Call 226-1784.

• Utah Baroque Ensemble Spring Concert, a musical preview of the ensemble's 2008 European Tour, 7 p.m., library fireplace, Orem City Library, 58 N. State. Free.

• Community and Family Night at the Springville Museum of Art, 126 E. 400 South. at 6 p.m. Join the staff at the museum for presentations by children's book illustrator Howard Fullmer and story-teller Ginger Parkinson, followed by a children's art project. Free.

• Literature Mind Marathon: The Belle of Amherst: Introducing Emily Dickinson, 7 p.m. at the Orem Public Library Storytelling Wing, 58 N. State. Emily Dickinson's quiet life produced deceptively simple poems that, after her death, earned her a place among the greatest American poets. Cynthia Hallen will present an introduction to the life and work ofthe singular "belle of Amherst." Free.

• Child Safety, is the topic of the Saturday's Spanish Fork Macey's Little Theatre class at 7 p.m. A RadKIDS instructor will help children age 3 to 12 learn how to stay safe. Children must be accompaniet by parents. Call 798-9803. Free.

• Uninsured Health Fair, 4:30-7 p.m. at the Utah County Health and Justice Building, 151 S. University Ave, Provo. Free physical exams. Screenings offered include: blood glucose, blood pressure, Hematacrit levels, height/weight/BMI, dental and vision. Fluoride varnishing and fluoride prescriptions will be offered for children. Childhood immunizations available for $5 per shot as well as selected adult immunizations. Get information on community resources for medical, dental, and mental health care .
