Sandy program to aid female cancer patients

SANDY — A "Step Out Step Up Event" will be Thursday, May 8, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at South Towne Center Mall, 10450 S. State, Sandy, between Aeropostale and Victoria's Secret.

Female volunteers are needed to create wellness bags for local cancer patients.

The bags will be distributed locally to female cancer patients through the Huntsman Cancer Foundation for Mother's Day.

Volunteers will receive free makeup makeovers, free chair and hand massages, music and refreshments.
