Huntsman receives award from UVSC

OREM — Utah Valley State College honored Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. recently with the college's Environmental Ethics Award during UVSC's 21st annual Environmental Ethics Conference.

Huntsman received the award "for his role as signatory of the Western Regional Climate Action Initiative to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions and global warming."

Huntsman said he signed the initiative with other Western governors "to find new and innovative solutions to air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions."
