Boozer and Andrei Kirilenko, who finished with 11, both had 10 before the break.

Kirilenko's tip of a Williams miss gave the Jazz a nine-point lead with 45.4 seconds to go before halftime, but a Landry free throw 21 seconds later cut the advantage to eight at 46-38.

Houston never led by more than three in the opening half, and — dating back to last year's Jazz-Rockets series — still has not been up at halftime in any of its 11 playoff games since 2007.

The Jazz never relinquished their advantage in the third quarter, and went into the fourth up 66-61.

They went up by 16 when Okur hit a 16-foot jumper just more than five minutes into the third, but Houston responded with a 13-3 run to help close the gap.
