Museum of Art (Brigham Young University, North Campus Drive, Provo, 378-2787) — "Dismantling Geneva Steel: Photographs by Chris Dunker," featuring 60 pigment prints from Dunker's three-year coverage of the plant taken with a large format camera, through Nov. 1. "Masterworks of Victorian Art From the Collection of John H. Schaeffer," featuring drawings and paintings from the era's best artists, through Aug. 16. "Minerva Teichert: Pageants in Paint," featuring 47 of the artist's large-scale pieces, through May 26. "American Dreams," featuring 115 pieces of art from the museum's permanent collection, including prints, sculpture, photography and painting.

Myra Powell Gallery (second floor, Union Station, Ogden) — "Let Wonderland Tell Its Story," featuring 1871 Albertypes by William Henry Jackson, through May.

Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art (650 N. 1100 East, Logan, 435-797-0163) — "Traces: Montana's Frontier Re-Visited," featuring photography by Richard S. Buswell, through May 10. "Picturing Faith: Religious America in Government Photography, 1935-1943" through June 28. "Abstracting the Land: Southwest Transcendentalism," featuring art by Agnes Pelton, Raymond Jonson, Emil Bisttram and Lawren Harris, through May 3. "Uses of the Real: Originality, Conditional Objects, Action/Documentation and Contemplation," featuring 12 works by Channa Horwitz, through May.

Springville Museum of Art (126 E. 400 South, Springville, 489-2727) — "Wayne Thiebaud: 70 Years of Painting," featuring 84 paintings and drawings by the artist, through July 27. Also "84th Annual Spring Salon" through July 6.

St. George Art Museum (47 E. 200 North, St. George, 435-634-5942) — Mezzanine gallery: "Wood Takes Root," featuring contemporary woodwork by artists from around the world. Also "Dennis Elliott: Recent Work," featuring woodwork by the artist. Legacy gallery: "The Inspired Line: Selected Prints of Albrect Durer and Rembrandt van Rijn From the Thrivent Financial Collection of Religious Art" and "From Blocks to Rocks," featuring the woodblock prints of Royden Card. All exhibits on display through May 24.
