Rolf Wilson used his perfect form, and a little help from the winds, to win the fifth annual North American Gelande Championships at Snowbird. Skiing continues this week at Snowbasin and Snowbird. Snowbasin will close on Sunday. Snowbird will remain open through May 26 and could possibly be open longer. Both resorts hold a base of more than 100 inches. Midmorning skiing has been rated as excellent. Alta, which closed last Sunday, has received 673 inches of snow this 2007-08 ski season. It officially closes the books on snow totals on April 30.
