If you watch any TV (best to avoid those energy-hogging plasma screens), you recognize some of the famous players known to bang the green drum. There's Al Gore, Sir Richard Branson, Prince Charles, Ted Turner, Woody Harrelson (who's not afraid of a little jail time to support his causes) and, of course, Ed Begley Jr. (see www.edbegley
.com), considered the greenest among Hollywood types of a similar hue.
But you don't have to be a rich somebody to do something. At what point can you call yourself "Green?"
There's a Web site quiz at www.reducereuserecycle
.co.uk. The quiz assumes that you're at least a little green well, aren't you? And just a quick note: It's a British Web site, so, know that nappies are diapers and a bin is a garbage can.
Speaking of garbage if you hated this story and you're reading it in a newspaper, please, recycle. If you loved it, e-mail a copy of it to friends and loved ones.
And, of course, happy Earth Day.
