Former Salt Lake City Library director Nancy Tessman recently was named to The Leonardo's Renaissance Advisory Board to help raise funds for the science, art and culture center.

Tessman, who retired from the library in 2007, is joined on the board by new members Susie Hulet and David Wiener.

"Our Renaissance Board definitely lives up to its moniker," said Mary Tull, The Leonardo's executive director. "The three new members provide the organization with even more depth and reach. We look forward to working with them, as well as their constituents, to create a vibrant facility where creativity is rewarded and innovation is celebrated."

Hulet worked for United Savings Bank for more than 20 years. She also has served on the Ogden Chamber of Commerce, the Ogden Symphony Ballet Association Foundation and the Ogden Opera Guild Board.

Wiener serves as president and CEO of David Wiener Ventures, a think tank for highly innovative business opportunities.

Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci, The Leonardo will be a first-of-a-kind science, art and culture center with a multidisciplinary approach.
